The Eggers Residence is our first project in Omaha, Nebraska. The site is a 1 acre east-facing hillside with views of the Happy Hollow Country Club. The home is for a family with two young children. The home includes 8,776 square feet of conditioned space over a large basement that will be used for mechanical equipment and storage. Access is from a private driveway to the north.
The plan resembles a pinwheel, with the garage at the north side, the office and gym at the west side, the central stair and family room to the south, and the kitchen, dining, and living spaces to the east – facing the beautiful views of the country club. The upper level is a bar plan running south to north, with the primary bedroom and three additional bedrooms all enjoying views to the east. Outdoor terraces are located on three sides of the home, to maximize enjoyment of the outdoors.
